The basic function of this position is to serve as the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Finance in organization, filling and coordinating needs, as well as communication regarding things like financial contracts for the University (e.g., vendors and independent contractors) and working with GU escrow accounts. The specialist assists with banking services for the University, helps with credit collections and helps to coordinate the Year End Audit with the University’s outside auditors.
Qualifications include: experience in the financial field, knowledge and experience with Windows applications, Word, and Excel, ability to maintain confidentiality while retaining good will among employees and missionaries, office etiquette in dealing with employees, visitors, and other educational entities, strong organizational skills/detail oriented, and ability to work with minimum supervision.
